Since I have a new Transformers story in the works, why don't I share some examples on who the characters are and what their inspirations and styles will be.

Let's start off with the Four Main Autobots that have been main characters to many series, most especially Prime and the Movies (mostly)
Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Arcee
Optimus will be going by both of his Styles from the First 3 Movies and Age of Extinction, so he'll change between the Peterbilt 379 from the First 3 Films and then switch into the Western Star 4900 in some later arcs, when he needs a more physical approach to his battles. As usual, he will be voiced by Peter Cullen, his Original G1 Voice and constant recurring actor since the 2007 Movie (excluding Animated since he was younger in that series and would be voiced by David Kaye, Beast Wars and Unicron Trilogy Megatron.) This story will make Optimus the more violent approach the movies gave, but he will also try to restrain himself for the most part in the killing department.

Bumblebee will be a mixture of three types of his character: His design will stick closely to the movies Camaro Form (which will be mainly based on the 2009 version, since that looks the best on him for me), but his character stems closer to how he was in G1, and he gets his Prime Beast Hunters voice Actor Will Friedle (the voice of Beast Hunters Bumblebee, but also the voice of Terry Mcginnis/Batman Beyond himself and Ron Stoppable from Kim Possible) He is the most responsible of the Speed Group, which is mainly the quick speedsters in a group. He is the leader and most prepared for situations. But he is still quite impatient and headstrong that it gets in his way a few times. He does however stop himself when needed to keep focus.

Arcee is our only female to start off, and her main inspiration is the Prime version. Motorcycle, Blue in Color, personality, even her voice Actress, Sumalee Montano. She's a pretty stoic female and goes towards a need to keep herself in check more then others. She doesn't have dead partners over her head, but she works in the Stealth Division, but does go into the Speed Group when needed. She has a relationship alongside Prowl and Drift in this story, with them being the Stealth Division members and trying to get to know who Drift and Prowl are underneath their rough and quiet exteriors. She truly feels interested and needs to figure out who they are, especially considering Drift's relationship with Blitzwing and Prowl's love for flowers. That, and she's also much more trusting to these two and Bumblebee, whereas she either respects her higher-ups (Optimus, Ratchet, and Ironhide) or doesn't think kind thoughts to others (Crosshairs and Acceleon). She definitely wants to end this fight with the Decepticons, but she truly does not have too many concerns with it, especially with her two closest allies being more then interesting to her.

Ratchet is going for a mixture between his Movie Vehicle Design and Colors, but being more akin in standard facial expressions and body style wise to his Prime version (as well as his voice actor Jeffrey Combs.) Ratchet is the old man who's truly getting too old for this. Being the medical expert he is, he truly knows how to repair and heal his fellow Autobots. But one thing he does in this series is looking into the Brains of his fellow Autobots, giving hints that everyone might be reborn from something in the Cybertronian History that they studied. Whatever this means, he is trying to look deeper into it. He may be old, but he is skilled. He just doesn't like showing it too much. With that, Ratchet's more reluctant in this story to fight. But when he does come out, Decepticons will drop.

(CONTINUED IN ANOTHER JOURNAL ENTRY WHEN I GET TO IT, HOPEFULLY LATER TODAY OR TOMORROW)
