Sword Art Online Ordinal Scale:

I saw this in The Theaters, and I was definitely glad I did. This Movie takes place after Mother’s Rosario and focuses on an Augmented Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game named Ordinal Scale that is sweeping the nation, and Kirito and Company get involved with it, with some interesting plots added in with a rather intriguing set of people heading this game.
I myself watched SAO at the end of Last Year, and I enjoyed the Series overall, even with some of its issues. SAO II Improved on many places with GunGale Online and Mother’s Rosario being definite improvements. And honestly for me, this Movie continued some of those Improvements.

Pros:
+ The Music and Animation are as stunning as always, alongside the good Music Themed around One of the Characters being Idol based, and the music really helped it out. The Animation was definitely really good with some good style to it that really proves how fluid the action is.
+ Kirito definitely seemed at his best here honestly. He’s not an overpowered or over glorified character for most of the Movie, and you see him at his most normal, which makes him a lot more interesting to see as the movie goes on. For all the complaints Kirito can get for getting things too easily or that he’s very basic, this Movie made it easier for me to see him at his most human and much less Gary Stu like (if you see him as such). While there are moments where he’s relied upon heavily (go to Middle Poitns for that) he’s definitely capable of earning all the cool moments he gets in this movie.
+ The Antagonists of this Movie are some of the most interesting in the series, if only for how they’re not full out bad guys for evil’s sake or for confusing reasons. They’re people with good reasoning behind what they do, but you still want them to be stopped. I like those kind of villains, and SAO can really benefit from these kinds of villains.
+ If you’re a fan of The Aincrad arc, this’ll definitely work out well to see the characters’ times in that bring up some consequences, and definitely adds up to some really tense moments with Kirito and Asuna, especially for the Subplot they get into.

Cons:
X This isn’t exactly something that’s too much of a big deal, but some characters are admittedly underutilized in some areas, namely Agil and Suguha. While they did good in the scenes they did, with Agil having some of the Funniest Lines in the Movie, they and Suguha did have good moments, they really could have done more.

Middle Points:
0 The Final Battle was Awesome and really was a big highlight, but Reward Weapon was… Jesus Christ it was pretty much an overpowered as fuck weapon that made some parts far too easy after A Big Boss was defeated. But it kind of makes sense logically considering it is a Big Weapon that is useful as fuck and it would make sense Gameplay wise. Story wise though, you may or may not have issues with it.
0 Kirito’s Progress. Either you’ll find it natural for him to go from needing to train better and keep in shape for Augmented Reality then Virtual Reality, thus making him earn his badassery, or you’ll still find Kirito… Kirito. Is this kid ever going to be a Big Positive for everybody? Probably not…
0 The Pacing will either be well paced for how it gets you invested and into the story while keeping you focused on Personal Character Driven Stories and balancing out the Action and Story, or you’ll find it wonky in places and find some of the action not long enough, or really oddly paced in the middle. I personally did not mind, but not everybody will feel the same.

Overall, I enjoyed Ordinal Scale a lot, and personally was happy to see it in Theaters. It was worth seeing in the Theaters, a fun time overall, and really made me appreciate watching all of SAO a few Months ago. If you’re still skeptical on SAO, though SAO II may have swayed you a little into positive, definitely give this a checkout. If you’re not into SAO, it’s an easy skip and something you don’t have to obligate yourself to see. On my end, I love it, and will continue loving it.

Grade: A-

P.S.
They Missed their chance to have The Swordland Latin Chorus in the Movie, so we missed out on a Theatrical “COFEE SODA TOFFEE PASTA.”
……….Also, I really cannot wait for The English Dub of this Movie.

RioDecade96, RioRider4035, whatever I may be, has finally returned after being absent for a while. Let's just Say I've been a little procrastinating and feeling overwhelmed, and then I decided to just say "Fuck It. I'm just gonna clear out all of my messages and not worry about what I missed." But hey, I'm around and might as well try an easier time to not do as much with myself, and also to link stuff for myself in places.

A Canterlot Wedding:
I Love This 2-Parter So Damn Much. When I first heard about this Two Parter, I heard about it thanks to a certain obsession I was into before hearing about it. And let's just say it involves Getting to Take Your Wedding back while some other woman is singing into a mirror about how she's winning it while fooling people.
And i heard about it and was curious to what it was doing. There were comparisons all over the Place on Deviantart, and it was showing many interesting ideas. So I decided to finally watch it back in August of 2012. And I was Blown Away by this 2-Parter when I first saw it. And it's been consistently the Best 2-Parter of The Whole Series to me. Now some might argue Return of Harmony (meh, I'll explain another day) and Twilight's Kingdom (which was very close to beating this 2-Parter... But this one still won out), but this one is still my favorite.
The Plot is something I felt was very well done and is something I was rather impressed by. It had secrets and mystery, it had tense moments, and it had plenty of good character development. I Love Twilight in these Episodes, proving to be a Well Developed and good character, and I think this is where she started elevating herself to more interesting stories and character development, along with her new family members becoming prominent figures. Shining Armor is Hands Down My Favorite Male Pony in the show. He's Everything I love with Big Brother characters, His Design is Majestic and Well Done, and He just feels like someone who is so cool and interesting you want to see more... Which only got accomplished with the Crystal Empire and The Comic's Best Storyline, Neigh Anything. But not only him, but we also got Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, AKA Princess Cadence, who is My Favorite Princess in the Show. She's not an Extreme of Sun or Moon, or anything like that. She represents a Thing we all need: Love. And with that, Cadence is still to me a character I love to see, and will always wish so much more to be done with her and Shining Armor. And to top it all off, we have easily my Favorite Villain in the whole show: Queen Chrysalis of The Changelings. A Great Design, She has an Army, The Changelings being an Awesome Concept in General, and Her Song "This Day Aria," Is One Of The Best Damn Songs in The Whole Series. Her and Cadence work hand in hand with this episode and it is glorious. Not only that, but it makes the story and setup even better when we see that this is rather normal for weddings like these, and nothing seems too much like The Characters were acting like idiots. Both sides are in The Right of some kind, but they're also in the Wrong of some kind. Twilight is getting overly suspicious of Cadence, which she was correct about, but she did not have evidence or any real way of arguing the side of Shining Armor, which made him more applicable to listen to in this sense. But neither side is truly right, and it made Chrysalis' plan way more well thought out then would be said. She planned so much, and probably planned way more then any other villain has. And to me, She Was The Absolute Closest To Winning this day, and being victorious. As Joshscorcher of FOB Equestria said, The Writers did pull a Deus Ex Machina at the end, but not in an ass pull sort of way, and more because The Writers did Legitimately Write themselves into a corner. And when you write a villain so well to do that, then you've done something good with a villain. And with The Power of Love Being The True Ultimate Power in this Episode, I Loved it. Though it does make me think of G Gundam with the Ending, so much that it makes me want to Shout, "SEKIHA! LOVE! LOVE! TENKYOKEN!!" right as they shoot The Power of Love at Chrysalis. The 2-Parter truly is something to behold. It's so well done that I argue this as my Second or Third Favorite Overall Episode of The Series. With a Compelling Story, Great Animation, Voice Acting, Perfect Pacing, Wonderful New Ideas, and Truly a Great 2-Parter that got me more into becoming a Brony. I wouldn't be getting this far without this 2-Parter, and I owe a lot of it to this. With all of this said, This is to me a Treat of Many Things I love about this series. Congrats, and You May Kiss The Bride Shining Armor. And Happy Three Year Anniversary to this Episode 2-Parter. April 21st.

My Old Fanfics are certainly dated, and I'm not continuing them at all.
It's time I got myself started on being a Writer again, and coming back to be my Fanfic writing self. My Kamen Rider Fourze Custom Robo Story is still going to continue, and it is going to become my Main Fanfic for the time, until I start doing other stories. I'm most likely going to keep myself in doing Kamen Rider Stories, but I know for sure I'm going to start up new Fanfics of other properties. It's been Too Long, It's Time I Break The Writers Block, and start giving out The Stories I want to tell. And if it means bringing myself up to do more stories on One Series I'm doing, then that's worth it. It's time I move on and do something more.
I, RioDecade96, formerly known as Fanfictionist13, am Coming back. It's been Too Long, and It's Time I do Something.
UCHU KITAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Idea: Put Sonic in a Hub World to travel in and do missions around town.

Execution: The Hub World is either too small and cramped, too spacious and big, and the missions are, for the most part, pointless unless you want something specific.

Bad Idea: Make a Giant Mountain of Shit that sings Opera in a Soprano style your Boss Fight.

Execution: It's a fun Boss Fight that tests your skills of aiming Toilet Paper and dodging, has great music, a good sense of atmosphere, memorability, and just all the wondrous feelings of flushing this Shithead down the drain.

Good Idea: A Power Rangers series focused on Globetrotting  and having a more serial nature to the episodes.

Execution: The characters are unlikeable, don't focus on the culture of the places they visit too much, and the Macguffins don't add to much until later down the series, and even then it's minimal and only a select few are important.

Bad Idea: Turning a goofy Super Sentai Season into a Dark and Edgy Season of Power Rangers.

Execution: They made their own original footage more then usual, the actors are vastly amazing in many times, the story is well told, we actually have Good Character Development, and they even poke fun at some of Power Rangers' usual weird styles with the Sentai Footage inconsistencies.

Good Idea: Updating a 80s Toyline for The 90s and to bring the series back.

Execution: It hardly resembles it's original series anymore, The Toyline got worse and didn't feel like the series anymore, and It suffers from The 90s Dark Age style of Rob Liefeld and makes you wish you had the 80s and less Pouches.

Bad Idea: Make a Movie about Mostly Unknown Super Heroes with some out there concepts like a Talking Raccoon who's a good pilot and a Sentient Tree that only says, "I am Groot," just to name a few.

Execution: Make the characters likable, do a decent story that's fun, exciting, emotional, and well done, and know that these characters are a team that work with each other first and foremost.

And many more to add as I find them.
